YoU JuSt GoT WONKED

Ok so i have been waiting to post these tracks for a while i think they are fantastic to listen to and are in general great tunes that have produced such a great response. Its middle band filthy electro whilst it still can be played in most clubs and not given that label. Taken from the sore feet EP and Sick Disco EP these artist have produced some great tracks and i commend them for it, they are a personal favorite of mine and i wish to explore more. The artist Wonked and Young Nutz. Here it is i hope you enjoy it as much as i do.

LIME DROPS

Drop the Lime has released his new EP "Set me Free" Its a great track that offers electro lovers a taste of how big he will be this year. After his statement at Stereosonic in Melbourne the power house individual stated that dub-step was making its grand opening this year, well this track isn't a dub-step track at all but an electro track that will definitely be peaking in all the clubs for weeks to come so here it is have a listen and enjoy.

MAU5 TRAP

Beatport has released this new EP by Deadmau5 called I said. This track is a lot like most of the tracks that Joel Zimmerman has released. A very progressive beat that sounds great behind all the distorted sounds that fill the background. It is defiantly going to be a club favourite, so here it is.

Uffie MCs Can Kiss

Uffie - MCs Can Kiss (Original)

Well she's back and she is sounding amazing. Uffie has released this track MCs can Kiss and its vintage Uffie rapping alongside electro beats. Its vibrant and offers a different style of electro that we would like to listen to from time to time. I must say this is better from the Ed Banger group as the disappointment of the fake Justice track still looms but in any case Uffie has come back with style and attitude.. enjoy

ITS ALL YELLOW

The wholesale dance suspense has been as gripping as a Tom Clancy thriller – but don’t fret, it’s been worth the wait. Yes, the anticipation and excitement has see-sawed between pleasurable and the unbearable, but we'd like to think your first taste of this arcade justice entitled Yellow will rock your jocks. And for some time to come.

- YELLOW -

You are cordially invited to join us at a friendly place called Neverland from 8pm this Saturday the Thirtieth of January Twenty Ten - the first installment of a new night/lifestyle/aerobics movement that is not to be confused with the primary colour itself.

There have been claims circulating that this launch night will be HUGE, that the VIBE will be GANGBUSTERS, and that you should TOTES DEFS BE THERE. The radio has reportedly told listeners to do their DISCO STRETCHES in preparation for the unbridled massiveness that will take place. These rumours cannot be confirmed nor denied via this page, but it is advised you arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Mysteriousness and drama aside, every Saturday night Yellow will treat you to the finest electronic and live acts from our not-so-humble metropolis, plus the most glamorous of interstate invaders. And when you're lucky (more regularly than you'd think), the very best from foreign soil will encourage Yellow patrons to dance by playing popular music.

The Launch Party. An excellent opportunity for you and those you are regularly acquainted with to check out something genuinely fresh and innovative. It is a brand spankin' new nightclub and it has lots of flashing lights, a dance floor that is an interesting shape (we'll let you find out for yourself), and several enchanted gardens that are perfect for enjoying a drink or two. Located at 32-48 Johnson Street South Melbourne with ample parking and a sweet new taxi rank ensuring a convenient journey home.

To further sweeten the condensed milk deal, Italy’s favourite electronic ombudsman MOWGLI will be doing his dark-yet-euphoric-dance-floor-thang; a bit of twisted techno and house is the very least to expect from a man who brings the party in droves.

With support from Melbourne's finest, the Yellow residents:

CHARDY
NICK FOLEY
FEENIXPAWL
SUNSHINE
ANDO
KRIS BAHA
JHEASY
JAMES FAVA

+ more

For those who are melways-phobic or orientation-challenged (ie. females), a handy-dandy map has been prepared earlier at:

www.ylw.com.au

Weekly photos, upcoming acts and events, contact info and pretty drawings can be viewed at the aforementioned interweb locale. There might even be a wanky forum one day, we'll keep you posted.

Worlds collide

Well it is a surprise that we see the all famous commercial deejay and producer David Guetta remixing the Prodigy track Breath. The track itself is full of guitar riffs and drum samples that carry the track itself. Its synths are dark and gloomy as we always see from the rock electro group, with David Guetta offering a different perspective to the groups image. Its a great track that is great to listen to on the go so have a listen and let me know what you think. The group are also playing here in Melbourne on March 4th for their invaders must die tour which has a great vibe about it and should be awesome!!!

THE BEGINNING OF THE END

** THIS TRACK IS A FAKE **

Justice has just posted a comment stating that this track is
in fact not one of theirs..

Justice "Beginning Of The End" is NOT a Justice track.

Well its full steam ahead as i have returned back from holidays i have much work to do but first i am posting a major track that has been released by JUSTICE!! The duo have named the track beginning of the end. ED BANGER have told everyone to blog the track and give it some promotion. The track is what we all expect from the French duo with their pop synth and percussion like beats. It offers a soft track to listen to that will most definitely be remixed in the near future so here it is.

ED BANGER

Well its that time of the year, by which i mean the slaughter of Ed Banger releasing tracks that are going to blow peoples minds. The crew have started with Sebastian and his new track Threnody. This track is the first one i have heard in my lifetime that has blown me away by amazing samples and mind blowing sound. If you have a headache i advise not to listen but if your into mind blowing sound that knocks red bull flat on it's face, i advise you to look no further. The crew of Ed Banger are all getting involved giving Justice the cold shoulder. This track is drawing a lot of attention and is fast growing. Other than Sebastian, new E.B. material is coming out at some point this year.

The mouse's playground

well its no surprise that Deadmau5 is back at work again this time his masterpiece "At play" volume two I have treated you with the whole EP. All the tracks give the slight electro sensation but at the same time keep Deadmau5's trait of progression in tact. Tracks that are personal favourites are Orca and Sex slaves both tracks are unique and prove to be great to listen to on every occasion so sit back and enjoy the ride because the mouse has come out to play.

the daft of punk

Now this isn't something that is brand new but is a personal favorite of mine Thomas Bangalter's remix of Signatune by DJ Mehdi is one of the best remixes i have ever heard. The silver head robot knows what he is doing and pleases us all with this brilliant remix that he played at Pedro Winter's birthday check it out on youtube. Its a refreshing track that has a hint of style that we all can see behind the brains of daft punk itself so take a look and have a listen..

a fresh start

Well, since the year of '09 has past, I thought that I would introduce myself to the world of blogging! I thought I would express the popular and rising electro music that has become so renown and loved by all who appreciate this type of music. A friend of mine opened myself up to the ways of blogging and he runs a blog himself which to say the least is amazing!
'09 was a year of hard electro and fast rising artists. Dim Mac made a name for themselves through the Beetroots taking the year by storm and Steve Aoki blasting his tunes left right and centre. Lets also not forget about Boys Noize and there release of Jeffer. Those mentioned were just a few of the power house's that rocked 09. 2010 holds great promise and im sure a much greater quality of music that we all enjoy.
